Open Door 2023

The Center for Hydrologic Innovations presented the ASU Open Door 2023 event Water and How it Moves in the Walton Center for Planetary Health, Lab 130, with help from graduate students, postdocs and faculty. Among the attractions were:

• Portable Weather Station: Come test how rainfall, weather and water level sensors work.
• Sensors in a Sand Box: How do we detect water in sandy soils?
• Flooding in Watershed: A video display of a streamflow event from an experimental watershed.
• Rainfall-Runoff Experiment: Watch how rainfall is transformed into runoff through a model system.
